For purchases and commissions concluded individually on request. Sales do not take place via an online shopping cart.
These terms apply to contracts for artworks and commissions with:
neriquea – nering unique art, Steve Nering, Holtschneiderweg 11, 41379 Brüggen, Germany, neriquea@web.de.
The presentation of works on this website is not a binding offer but an invitation to enquire. Following your enquiry you will receive an individual offer. The contract is concluded once you accept the offer and I confirm the order (in text form, e.g. by email).
All prices are final prices in euros. As a small business within the meaning of § 19 UStG, I do not show value added tax. Shipping or delivery costs may be added and will be communicated before the contract is concluded.
Payment is made by invoice (bank transfer) unless otherwise agreed. For commissions, 50% is due on order and 50% before or on delivery.
Delivery is made to the address you provide within Germany; other delivery areas by arrangement. The production of a commission usually takes 12–16 weeks from receipt of the order. Details are set out on the Delivery & Payment page.
Exclusion for made-to-measure works: For goods that are made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs (commissions), there is no right of withdrawal pursuant to § 312g (2) no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
For available works that are not individually made, consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for a contract concluded by distance selling. In that case I will provide the details and the model withdrawal form before the contract is concluded.
The goods remain my property until they have been paid for in full.
The statutory warranty rights apply. Each work is a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece in patinated copper. Differences in colour, structure and surface are intentional properties of the material and do not constitute a defect.
For durability and preservation, please observe the notes on environment and care (see the Material & Made to Measure page). No liability is accepted for damage caused by unsuitable environmental conditions or improper care.
For damage arising from injury to life, body or health, and in cases of intent or gross negligence, I am liable in accordance with the statutory provisions. In the case of slightly negligent breaches of material contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
